Hi, I'm Christina
I pursued UX research because I always strove to better understand how other people think and feel. UX research allowed me to use that curiosity in a practical way to make people’s lives and work a little easier.
When I started my career, I originally wanted to be a technical writer and editor. I loved writing, and I had a knack for articulating difficult concepts that was easily accessible to the average person. I intended to use that skill to help demystify complicated technical processes for average users. Instead, as a researcher, I have enjoyed using that same skill to translate more abstract challenges into actionable solutions on behalf of those same users.
I have primarily worked in the B2B IT and med tech spaces, conducting research for a variety of end users, but specializing in employee-facing. It has been especially rewarding getting to see the results of my research firsthand as internal processes improve, and my own colleagues feel happier knowing that they have a voice.
Outside work, I can usually be found snuggling cats while either cross-stitching sorcerers, reading horror novels, or learning about the latest deep sea discovery. I love exploring independent artisans and can often be found at local shops, restaurants, and art or craft fairs.
Sometimes all I needs is a good book, some music, and a chocolate.
